It is always a reality that every beginning of a project will surely have an end. In a well-organized industry, every stage of production requires specialty and professional individuals. One of the most crucial stages is the finishing stage. At this stage, final and important steps are taken to bring the best of the product. Tell us about your background — you can include information about school, previous companies, etc.
TL – I started doing deliveries back in 89’ and really its all I’ve ever done! I saw people running machines and knew I wanted to do what they were doing. And just like that, I was doing exactly that here at Kessler!
Tell us about your role here at KC.
TL – I analyze projects and prescribe data to the correct machine for setup, while utilizing my knowledge of how the machine operates. I inspect the machines to detect if there is any malfunction and repair or replace the corresponding parts. I also help perform training for new employees on the ins and outs of the equipment. In conclusion, I pretty much bounce from machine to machine!
What do you enjoy most about working at KC?
TL – The people here are unmatched, Keith and Dina included! They are great owners who re-invest in the company. They are constantly updating the equipment to ensure we can produce the best quality of products to our clients. And because of that, it helps people like me work on a reliable machine with no issues. This company has really grown a lot since I’ve first started and as a result I’ve never wanted to leave.
What does a normal day at KC look like for you?
TL – A normal day at Kessler for me is usually a busy one. I look at our production schedule and see what jobs we are looking to produce for the week and typically there’s a lot of them! I see what I need to do to get those jobs done and pushed out our doors effectively and efficiently. I make sure I am ahead of the game because there’s always a lot going on. Never a boring day at Kessler Creative!
What are things you enjoy doing outside of work?
TL- I do try and relax on the weekends and go fishing when I can, but truthfully, I enjoy working the most. That’s my life and that’s what I’m dedicated to the most.
